It’s that time of year again! Blue green algae blooms are back and advisories have started coming in. So far just a few lakes have started to bloom but keep in mind it’s still early in the year. Protect yourself by not touching the algae blooms, do not swim or wade near them and make sure your pets don’t drink the water or eating any fish (trimmings or whole) as the liver can can store toxins from the algae.
