Today Aquabatics officially opened their doors in Edmonton! I had to go check out their new location and was not disappointed, as soon as I opened the doors I was greeted by some familiar faces, both Tom and Andy were on the scene. As I was taken on a tour around the store more people showed up and were greeted with the same enthusiasm. Its good to see such a strong kayak scene, I can already tell Aquabatics will be play a big role in the community.
So what does Aquabatics have to offer? Their goal is to be Canada’s leading paddlesport retail and information center. They had a fleet of boats already in stock as well as a ton of accessories. I was told they are expecting more inventory as the season approaches and they are also planning clinics for both new and experienced paddlers.
I really like some of the accessories lines they have in stock, such as YakAttack and NRS. The Omega Pro rod holder is the best in the business. They are also a Jackson Kayak, Wilderness Systems, and Perception dealer with boats in the show room. Its great for potential buyers to see these boats in person and to talk shop with people that actually use them.
I am very excited that Aquabatics is in town, they will be keeping my wallet nice and light!
